Playback Memphis is an intentionally diverse and inclusive community of artists. We use the practice of Playback theatre to nurture our own growth and well-being and to build a more compassionate and just Memphis.
Like the individuals in any community, each of the folks that make up Playback Memphis has their own story. What they have in common is a passion for theatre arts, a calling to use that passion for healing and a deep love for the city of Memphis.
At the core of our organization are the players, a talented team of professional actors, dancers and musicians. They are supported by a committed staff and an inspired board of directors.
Together, they are bringing stories to life and life to communities — for the good of our city.
