BIPOC Memphis Matters, June 12th ***SOLD OUT***

WATCH our new video. LEARN why BIPOC spaces matter.

At Playback Memphis our mission is to bring stories to life in a safe space to unlock healing, transformation, and joy.

Playback has always championed deep and generous listening, which has informed our collective choice to offer  a special BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, People of Color) Memphis Matters, in celebration of Juneteenth.

We wholeheartedly support and encourage this BIPOC Memphis Matters show that centers our BIPOC ensemble and BIPOC audience. When people of color caucus together it is healing and centering for them in a way that’s not possible when the space is not safe. As a practice, Playback always invites us to deepen and grow ourselves as human beings and to be in beloved community together. In a time of such deep cultural trauma what more loving act is there than to honor, support , and protect our BIPOC ensemble and audience in their need for this experience. Please join us in celebrating this wonderful growth for our ensemble, for Memphis Matters, and for Playback Memphis. Let’s Watch!
