Community Matters Non-Profit Partner Application

Each year, Playback Memphis chooses six non-profit organizations from a pool of applicants to receive a Playback experience (performance or workshop) at a deeply discounted price and to attend a Memphis Matters performance where the Community Matters partner will be featured. Playback is looking for organizations who work with people who have a human imperative for their voices to be heard. And, by working with Playback, they will have a platform to share their voices and have an experience that unlocks healing, transformation and joy. In this partnership, we offer a performance that will be specifically themed for the partner as well as six complimentary tickets for the partner organization to experience Memphis Matters (2018 dates include: April 7, June 2, Aug 18, Sept 14, Oct 20 and Dec 1).

Community Matters experiences can integrate key public health messaging and focus on vital community concerns such as bullying, domestic violence, substance abuse, suicide awareness and teenage pregnancy. Themes can be custom tailored as well. No matter the theme, Playback always brings stories to life in a safe space, helping unlock healing and promoting transformation, and joy.

Traditional performance (11/2 hours) An hour and a half performance with a theme tailored to your group.

Workshop (11/2 hours) Experiential workshops are perfect for smaller groups up to twenty. Playback Memphis workshops provide powerful experiential learning and group connection and are tailored to meet the needs of your group.
